‘She Dares To Say’ will be on hiatus as I need to take a break to plan the next season’s content for this email newsletter project.

As I mentioned in last month’s mailout, I have plenty more recordings from the in-depth follow-up chats I’d be having with the folks who’d been leaving their email addresses for me to pick up in my sexuality survey GoogleForm.

So if the hundreds of you who read these mailouts each month are keen to listen to and read more of those, I can transcribe and publish another selection of interviews.

Or, let me know what types of content you’d like to receive in these mailouts?

  1. Audio extracts and transcripts of sexuality survey follow-up interviews

  2. Behind the scene of my writing and general creative process

  3. Return to themes of coloniality

  4. Return to personal essays

  5. Or something else (Please send over your suggestions!)

Please let me know in the comments below, by replying directly to this email or by emailing me via almazohene@substack.com.

NB. Last month’s POSTSCRIPT mailout for paid subscribers included a couple of the exciting early ideas I’ve already had for the next season of this email newsletter project, so I’ll continue to those ideas and I’ll keep you all in the loop regarding this newsletter’s return.

In the meantime, do continue to visit my website to view my latest work and projects.

I’m Almaz Ohene, a Creative Copywriter, Freelance Journalist and Accidental Sexpert.

Recent work:
– For brand strategy agency Brand By Me, I wrote a blog – ‘3 Signs that your brand is focused on diversity over equity’ – which takes a look at the ways that brands are giving diversity nods rather than being truly equitable. I spotlight three main ways that this happens; optical representation, cultural dissonance and paternalism.

– For sextech platform SEXTECHGUIDE, I curated a listicle about warming/heating sex toys
